Carjacking Suspect Captured
Charges could be filed today against a man believed to be involved in at least two carjackings. Roseville police officers arrested the suspect as he drove out of an apartment complex near 11 Mile and Floral Wednesday afternoon.
Police Chief Michael Pachla says the suspect was caught after allegedly hitting a woman in the face with a gun during an attempted car-jacking near 11 Mile and Gratiot. Instead of stealing the woman's car, the suspect stole a delivery truck around noon Wednesday and eluded police for much of the afternoon.
Investigators say the suspect may be the same man wanted for a carjacking in Grosse Pointe Woods.
The woman was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be okay.
