Canton Township Woman Killed In Multi-Car Crash In Ypsilanti Township
One person is dead, three injured in a multi-car crash Tuesday afternoon in Ypsilanti Township.
Police say a motorist driving a 1995 Ford ran a red light and slammed into a 2002 Ford vehicle turning at the light at Ecorse and Harris. Those two vehicles then hit three other cars.
Police say a 32-year old Canton Township woman died in the crash. Her two sons were injured. Both were taken to the University of Michigan Hospital.
Police say the driver that caused the crash was also hurt. He was taken to St Joseph Mercy Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say he's been in trouble in the past, with alcohol-related charges. The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Traffic Division is investigating the crash.
Police say the man that caused the crash could be arraigned this week on several felony charges.
