'Candelabra,' 'Tony's,' Bob Newhart Win Big At Creative Arts Emmys
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — HBO's Liberace biopic "Behind The Candelabra," CBS' "The Tony Awards" and legendary comedian and sitcom star Bob Newhart were the big winners Sunday at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
The Emmys mostly award creative services people (directing, hair, make-up, lighting, casting, voice-over, music, writing, art direction, sound, production, to name some of the categories) but guest starring roles on prime time shows are also presented.
Guesting on CBS' "The Big Bang Theory," the 84-year-old Newhart won his first-ever Emmy after six previous attempts at taking the prize home.
