How far would you go to play the Powerball on Wednesday night for the chance at $1.5 billion?
I, for instance, threw in $5 for the CBS Radio pool and I'll also buy one single ticket for $2 on my way home from work.
Valenti and Foster have posed the question 'how much will you spend on tickets for this drawing?' Then it happened. A call we never thought we would hear.
Victor, who did not want to give his last name, did the unthinkable. He says he took out a loan from his credit union for $3,200. But he says there's a strategy behind his impulsive move.
"I do what I want, I do stuff for fun. I do these things sporadically ... like I've driven to Texas for barbecue and turned around and come home -- I've had a lot of awesome and successful things happen because of it," he says.
The 30-year-old UPS driver says he never plays the lotto - -so putting a good amount of money into one chance at a big payoff was far more interesting to him.
"I'm not broke," Victor told WWJ, "It's not going to put a dent in my finances."
He insisted that he is not lying. And if he wins .... he'll still drive for UPS he says.
Is this the craziest thing you have heard someone do for just the chance of winning the lottery?
