If Twitter is any indication, superstar Miguel Cabrera certainly seems sad to see Prince Fielder go.
The Detroit Tigers announced they traded Fielder and gave the Texas Rangers $30 million in exchange for second baseman Ian Kinsler. Starting pitcher Justin Verlander reacted with surprise on Twitter on Wednesday night. Cabrera joined the response Thursday by either posting or retweeting photo after photo of Cabrera and Fielder together.
With Fielder batting fourth, Cabrera in third probably saw much more pitching than he would have otherwise because teams did not want to walk him and then have RBI machine Fielder up next. Sports Illustrated featured the duo in an article that proclaimed them "Bash Bros" for their power at the plate.
Cabrera also moved from first to third when Fielder arrived in 2012 so Fielder could play first.
