Bullpen Loses Lead But 9th-Inning Blasts Seal Win
The way right-hander Jeremy Bonderman was rolling Monday night, it looked like the Tigers' bullpen might have a low-stress night.
With two out in the sixth and nobody on, Bonderman had a four-run lead, and he'd thrown only 64 pitches.
Then, said manager Jim Leyland, Bonderman "hit a wall."
He gave up two runs with two out in the sixth and got knocked out.
