Buddy's Pizza Celebrates 65th Birthday With Facebook Sweepstakes
What would you do for a year of free pizza? Buddy's Pizza is hoping you'll log on to its Facebook page and enter its anniversary sweepstakes.
In continuation of its 65th anniversary celebration, Buddy's is hosting a Facebook sweepstakes through the month of July. Customers can visit www.facebook.com/buddyspizza for a chance to win free pizza for a year, and one of five family memberships to The Henry Ford.
Facebook fans are encouraged to help Buddy's celebrate its anniversary by sharing favorite Buddy's Pizza experiences, stories and memories on its Facebook page. Buddy's is seeking fan submissions of anniversary greetings, videos, photos and more.
The sweepstakes begins at midnight July 1 and ends at 11:59 p.m. July 31. For details and official rules visit www.facebook.com/buddyspizza.
Buddy's fans can also visit any of the nine Buddy's Pizza locations to pick up an anniversary customer card featuring monthly deals while supplies last. Once a month through Dec. 15 cardholders can purchase an 8-square cheese pizza for $6.50 and add extra toppings for 65 cents each.
Buddy's Pizza recently commemorated its 65th anniversary during an event at the original Buddy's location on Six Mile Road in Detroit. City Council President Charles Pugh presented a resolution honoring Buddy's for its contributions to the city, and Mayor Dave Bing issued a proclamation declaring June 23 Buddy's Pizza Day in the city of Detroit.
Other anniversary promotions include the launch of Buddy's charitable Motor City Pizza collection benefitting four metro Detroit cultural institutions, as well as the introduction of the Kid Rock Badass Detroiter Pizza at the Buddy's Six Mile Road location.
