Bright House Of Michigan Adds Global Channels
Bright House Networks of Michigan Monday announced the addition of 10 international channels.
"We have always been focused on offering our customers the highest quality of programming," said Robert McCann, Bright House Networks Michigan President. "Our customers are quite diverse and I believe they will be quite pleased to be able to have access to expanded programming from their native countries."
The new channels include:
* Channel One Russia (Channel 586) -- Channel One Russia is the biggest, most popular and acclaimed Russian language TV network in the world.
* RTN - Russian Television Network of America (Channel 587) -- RTN is a premier 24-hour Russian language television channel in North America.
* TV Asia (Channel 588) -- TV Asia provides a wide range of programming produced for South Asian-Americans who want to maintain ties with their cultural heritage and way of life.
* Phoenix North America Chinese Channel (Channel 592) -- Phoenix North America Chinese Channel was launched in 2001 and now provides service to Chinese communities in North and South America.
* Phoenix InfoNews (Channel 593) -- Phoenix InfoNews has a solid reputation as the news leader in greater China. It is the station more people turn to for 24/7 breaking news, financial reports, sports and weather.
* TFC - The Filipino Channel (Channel 594) -- TFC is a service of ABS-CBN, the Philippines' dominant broadcaster, program producer and cable operator. TFC is the first network in Asia to deliver 24-hour programming to Filipino-Americans.
* Deutsche Welle (Channel 595) -- Deutsche Welle is Germany's international broadcaster
* Antenna Satellite (Channel 596) -- Antenna Satellite features the content of Antenna TV, the leading Greek television network.
* TVK – Television Korea (Channel 597) -- TVK is a 24-hour Korean digital basic cable channel dedicated to serving Korean-American communities throughout the United States.
* SET Asia (Channel 589) -- Since its launch on the Indian subcontinent in 1995, Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has enjoyed rapid success, leading to the establishment of European, North American and African feeds known as SET Asia. SET and SET Asia are now available in more than 150 countries.
