Bright House Networks Launches ESPN Buzzer Beater

Bright House Networks Detroit Division has launched ESPN Buzzer Beater, a new HD network available to all Bright House Networks Sports Pass HD customers.

ESPN Buzzer Beater features live cut-ins and highlights from numerous top college basketball games during each Wednesday and Saturday of the college basketball season, plus up-to-the-minute commentary from ESPN analysts and experts, including hosts Anish Shroff, Cindy Brunson and Steve Bunin and analyst Tim McCormick.

Bright House Networks' customers will be some of the first to have access to ESPN Buzzer Beater. 

Games featured on ESPN Buzzer Beater will include those airing on ESPN's family of networks, as well as syndicated and locally-produced games from other conferences, capturing the best live action of the day.

For the 2011 season, the ESPN Buzzer Beater programming schedule is as follows: every Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. Eastern time through March 5; every Wednesday from 7 to 11 p.m. Eastern time through March 2; Thursday, March 10 from noon to 11 p.m. Eastern time; and Friday, March 11 from noon to 11 p.m. Eastern time.

"This year's college basketball season is gearing up to be one of the most exciting yet," said Robert McCann, president of Bright House Networks Detroit Division. "Bright House Networks customers will have access to some of this season's most thrilling highlights with ESPN's new Buzzer Beater network."

Buzzer Beater will be available to all Bright House Networks Sports Pass HD customers on channel 699. In the coming weeks, Buzzer Beater will also be made available online tocustomers at ESPNnetworks.com. In order to access ESPN Buzzer Beater online, customers must have the Bright House Networks Sports Pass as a part of their cable TV service. In addition, a My Services login is required to view the programming online.

Bright House Networks is the sixth largest owner and operator of cable systems in the U.S. with systems in five states including Florida, Alabama, Indiana, Michigan and California. In Michigan, Bright House serves Farmington, Farmington Hills, Livonia, Novi and Redford Township.
