Baseball can get boring sometimes -- even for the avid fan.
The average length of an MLB game in 2015 was two hours and 56 minutes. Those nearly three-hour games have very little on-the-edge-of-your-seat action.
There's lots of milling around, dusting off the plate, fouling off bad pitches and other yawn-worthy moments in the average baseball game. Traditionalists will tell you that these things make the game great.
A group of seemingly bored fans in Cleveland decided to test their engineering skills on Friday night, as the hometown Indians took on the Baltimore Orioles.
The task at hand: build a pyramid out of beer cans as high as possible. The challenge was made easier considering it was $2 beer night at Progressive Field.
According to SB Nation, the pyramid contained 112 cans, which totaled $224.
