Bond Set At $1M For Man In Royal Oak Break-In
A Detroit man jailed on a $1 million bond after he was arraigned Monday following a police chase and home break-in in Royal Oak. Police say 26-year-old Mathew Phenix broke into a home on Bonnie View Street in Royal Oak early Saturday, leaning over the victim as she lay in her bed and threatening to kill her.
He reportedly lead police on a chase in the woman's stolen SUV before he was caught in Southfield.
Police say the man has a record of robbery and fleeing police.
Bond is set at 1,000,000
A preliminary exam was scheduled fot July 30th,
