Bomb Scare At Woodhaven Gas Station
WOODHAVEN (WWJ) - A gas station in Woodhaven was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after a "suspicious package" was found on the property.
Police talking to WWJ Newsradio 950 confirmed that a bomb squad was called to the scene — a Shell station at Hall and West Roads — across the street from the Woodhaven Police Department.
That intersection was closed for the investigation.
Police are not releasing any details about the nature of the package.
No injuries were reported.
