Body Found Amid Search For Woman Along Lake Mich.
PARK TOWNSHIP (AP) - Authorities searching part of Lake Michigan and a shoreline in southwestern Michigan for a woman in her 50s say a body has been found.
The Grand Rapids Press reports the body was found Thursday morning along the water in Holland State Park. There wasn't immediate word about the identity of the body.
The search began late Wednesday. Authorities say the woman was reported missing by her husband and her shoes were found at a beach in Ottawa County's Park Township.
U.S. Coast Guard crews and Ottawa County sheriff's deputies were involved in the search using boats and a Coast Guard helicopter.
