Bobb's Stay Extended Through June
DETROIT (WWJ) Detroit Public Schools Emergency Financial Manager Robert Bobb's contract expires next month, with much work still to be done.
The Detroit Free Press reports Governor Synder has agreed to keep Bobb on the job for the rest of the school year, or the end of June.
On Friday, a Wayne County Circuit Court judge upheld the continuation of Bobb's five-year plan, while outlining what responsibilities will be returned to the school board.
