Blue Water Bridge Reopens
The Blue Water Bridge that links Port Huron and Sarnia, Ontario, has reopened to trucks and commercial traffic after a pre-winter snowstorm trapped hundreds of people on Highway 402 in Canada.
Blizzard conditions and icy roads made travel impossible and prompted the Canadian government to declare a national disaster.
The closing forced several General Motors plants in Michigan to interrupt production and caused long delays at the Ambassador Bridge.
