Blaze Stops Business At 2 Popular Restaurants In Farmington
FARMINGTON (WWJ) - Firefighters battled a blaze that affected two Farmington businesses Friday afternoon.
John Cowley & Sons Pub and Cool Henry's Restaurant share a building on Grand River in the downtown area.
Scott Freeman manages the nearby Farmington Civic Theatre and saw flames shooting through the roof of two-story the restaurant and bar.
"I did see early on when there was still fire & flames coming out of the top , some fire personnel entering the building with chain saws, so I would imagine they're cutting out some areas to make sure there's no smouldering embers."
There's no word of any injuries.
No word on a cause or damage estimate yet, either.
