Biker Killed In Crash With Truck
MONROE (WWJ) - A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Monroe.
Police said the motorcycle and a pickup truck collided as the pickup was making a left hand turn on West Seventh Street to northbound Telegraph Rd. shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday.
The motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
It was not immediately clear if he had been wearing a helmet. His name has not been released.
No one else was hurt.
Monroe Police are hoping to track down some witnesses in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call Cpl. Daryl Tamsen at 734-243-7500.
