Big Ten Investigating MSU Linesman's Conduct During UM Game
EAST LANSING (WWJ/AP) - The Big Ten has notified Michigan State that it is investigating the conduct of one of its football players during the Spartans' 28-14 win over Michigan Saturday.
Defensive lineman William Gholston is shown on videotape taking a swing at a Michigan player, and, on another play, appearing to twist the helmet of Wolverines' quarterback Denard Robinson.
Gholston received two personal misconduct penalties during the game. MSU athletic director Mark Hollis says the school will forward a written report to the conference after an internal review is completed.
