Biden's Christmas Trees Headed To DC From Gobles
GOBLES (AP) - Vice President Joe Biden's Michigan-grown Christmas trees are on their way to the nation's capital. The three are an 11-and-a-half-foot Fraser fir and two narrower trees.
They are traveling from the West Michigan community of Gobles to Washington.
The Kalamazoo Gazette reports Friday the Gobles-area Wahmhoff Farms Nursery earned the honor of supplying both Biden's and Gov. Rick Snyder's trees by earning top honors in state and national tree contests last summer.
Next up on the list are receptions in Lansing and Washington. They're scheduled back-to-back in early December.
