Bicyclist Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash Along Grand River Avenue
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are searching for the driver who left the scene after fatally striking a bicyclist on Detroit's west side.
The accident happened late Monday night at Grand River Avenue and Lothrop, near I-96 and West Grand Boulevard.
A woman was riding her bicycle alongside a friend, who was walking, when she was struck by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene after the accident.
The woman, described as in her 40s, received fatal injuries. The friend was uninjured.
