Bicyclist Dies After Hit-And-Run Crash In Macomb Township
MACOMB TOWNSHIP (AP) — Authorities say a 29-year-old man riding a bike in a crosswalk has died after being struck by at least one car in a Detroit suburb.
Macomb County sheriff's officials say Kevin Fletcher was traveling home from his restaurant job early Saturday morning when he was hit in Macomb Township. Investigators say the car didn't stop.
A witness told officers the vehicle had a green light.
Sheriff's officials say in a release they are seeking two vehicles, a light-colored sedan, possibly a Chrysler, and light-colored Jeep that should have at least a damaged headlight.
