With three locations in the Metro Detroit area, Dooley's Irish Tavern presents the ultimate St. Patty's Day pub crawl. Each location provides live music on Saint Patrick's Day and free shuttles that run to all three bars allowing patrons to celebrate the holiday all day long. They can also enjoy giveaways, corned beef and hash and the popular green beer. Dooley's is known for its drink choices, affordable tavern food, free Wi-Fi and entertainment options, which include plenty of TVs, pool and arcade-style games. Dooley's is also known as the home of the $1 draft beers, which are available every day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m..

The Old Shillelagh is known to have Detroit's "Best Burger Downtown." The establishment features three floors of entertainment on the weekends with deejay entertainment on the main floor, live Irish bands on the second floor and a rooftop deck. The bar holds the area's biggest St. Patty's Day party every year drawing crowds of more than 6,000 people. There is live music all day long ranging from the traditional Irish band fare to classic rock. The large crowds pack into the bar's massive heated tents that are set up outside in the parking lot. The Old Shillelagh's popular drunken sing-a-longs are what keep people coming back year after year.

Located in the heart of Downtown Detroit, Foran's Grand Trunk Pub is known as much for its historic atmosphere as it is for its food and drinks. The two-story bar is housed in the old Grand Trunk Railway building, which was built back in 1879. The building's vaulted ceilings and brick wall interior are a sight to behold. The first floor houses the bar which relies on locally produced food and beverages from places like Motor City Brewing Company and the Eastern Market. The second level features a stage that hosts live music that ranges from techno to rock to classic Irish sounds. Foran's throws a massive St. Patty's Day party every year featuring live music and Irish eats.

Sports meets Ireland in this Irish-themed tavern in downtown Royal Oak. O'Tooles is a great place to watch a game with 46 TVs on site. Pool, darts and various video games are all available to play and the establishment features a full bar with a wide array of typical American bar food. Drink and food specials are offered daily including St. Patty's Day. The bar throws a St. Patrick's Day bash every year with giveaways, green beer, corned beef and cabbage, bag pipes and leprechauns.

This classic bar is known for its laid-back atmosphere and nods to the past with its jukebox and pinball machines. Pool and darts are also available to play in this cozy little establishment. Danny's Irish Pub is known as the place to be on St. Patty's Day with its all day party that runs from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. The bar will have Irish music playing all day and will include some live acts during that time. It will also be serving all of the Irish whiskey that one can drink. There usually isn't green beer on tap, but you can ask for a drop of its green food coloring.
