Barricaded Gunman Surrenders To Police
PONTIAC (WWJ) - A gunman holed up in a Pontiac apartment has surrendered to Oakland County Sheriff's officials.
Undersheriff Mike McCabe told WWJ Newsradio 950 that the man is a suspect in a shooting that took place in Pontiac earlier in the day. McCabe said the victim was shot three times in the leg, but is expected to survive.
The gunman held authorities at bay for about two hours at the apartment complex on Newman near University Drive.
There was no immediate word as to what led to the shooting.
