Band Together At BlackFinn, Fight Domestic Violence
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Band together at BlackFinn on July 28 and raise funds to help end domestic violence.
HAVEN, Oakland County's center for the prevention and treatment of domestic violence and sexual assault, is combining mixers and mingling to raise funds to fight domestic violence. Patrons at the popular BlackFinn Restaurant in Royal Oak who purchase wristbands benefiting HAVEN get free appetizers and specials on Thursday.
The wristbands cost $5 a piece and allow the bearer to receive free appetizers and $2 off you-call-it drinks until 9 pm. Attendees will also have a chance to win a $50 BlackFinn gift card.
The fare at BlackFinn includes a carefully chosen selection of premium quality "saloon favorites" one would find on a traditional pub menu along with contemporary American menu items like soups, salads and regionally inspired dishes and daily specials.
Proceeds from the event will go toward HAVEN, a nationally recognized non-profit organization is a leader in preventing and treating the trauma of domestic violence and sexual assault, through community education and empowerment of survivors.
The event takes place Thursday, July 28 from 7 to 9 pm at BlackFinn Restaurant, 530 S. Main Street, in Royal Oak.
