Baby Hurt After Fall From 2nd-Story Window
GRAND RAPIDS (WWJ/AP) - Authorities in West Michigan say a baby has been injured after falling out of a second-story window.
The child was taken to a Grand Rapids hospital Monday evening after the fall at a home in the 300 block of Brown Street.
Police say the baby, believed to be about 1-year-old, was crying and moving. The baby's injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.
Authorities say they don't know how the baby fell from the window. Child Protective Services have been contacted to investigate the incident.
