Automation Alley Welcomes 24 New Members in September

Automation Alley, Michigan's largest technology business association, announced last week that 24 new members joined the organization in September.

"With an upcoming domestic trade mission and an award of $250,000 in state funding, September was a great month to join the Automation Alley community," said Ken Rogers, executive director of Automation Alley. "We are more than happy to welcome these new members as we plan even more exciting projects and events in the coming months."

Automation Alley's web statistics continue to remain strong with almost 25,000 visits in September. Compared to August, the site also saw a spike in new visitors. The member directory pages with the most views were Michigan Works Troy Career Center, LaSorda Group LLC and 123.net Inc. The most viewed member discounts were the 5 percent Upfront Savings from Michigan's No. 1 Workers Compensation, the Century 21 Town & County Member-to-Member Savings and New Horizons' Discounted Training Services.

Since its founding in 1999, Automation Alley has expanded to include more than 1,000 businesses, educational institutions and government entities from the City of Detroit and the surrounding eight county region. Automation Alley promotes regional prosperity through entrepreneurial and exporting assistance, workforce development and technology acceleration.
