Automation Alley Partners With MEDC On Global Trade Days
TROY (WWJ) -- Automation Alley, Michigan's largest technology business association, is partnering with the Michigan Economic Development Corp. to promote Global Trade Days, a three-day conference in three cities designed to help Michigan companies explore opportunities and trends in markets around the world.
Global Trade Days will take place Oct. 14 in Troy, Oct. 17 in Grand Rapids and Oct. 18 in Traverse City. The conferences are scheduled to include remarks from Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and advice from MEDC country experts on China, Canada, Brazil and Mexico and a private contractor in the United Arab Emirates. Topics will include a discussion on 2013-14 Michigan trade missions and trade shows. Attendees will also hear success stories from participating Michigan companies.

Global Trade Days will take place in Troy on Monday, Oct. 14 from 1-5 p.m. at the Detroit Marriott Troy hotel, 200 W. Big Beaver Road. Register online at www.regonline.com/globaltradedays.

The cost to attend either the Troy or Grand Rapids conferences is $25. The cost for the Traverse City conference is to be announced. Registration for each conference ends Oct. 7.
