Authorities: Man Bludgeoned To Death At Home
PENNFIELD TWP. (AP) - Authorities say a 51-year-old man was bludgeoned to death by another man at a home in southern Michigan's Calhoun County.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports sheriff's investigators found the body Tuesday afternoon in Pennfield Township.
Authorities say the suspect, who formerly lived at the home with the man, was taken into custody at a friend's apartment following a 30-minute standoff.
No one else was injured in the standoff. Names weren't immediately released. Authorities were working to determine a motive for the slaying.
