Atlanta-Bound Jet Makes Emergency Landing At Metro Airport
DETROIT (WWJ) - A Delta Air Lines jet that took off from Grand Rapids, bound for Georgia, has made an emergency landing at Metro Airport after a reported cabin pressure problem.
Delta Flight 1980 took off from Gerald R. Ford International Airport Tuesday morning headed for Atlanta.
Delta spokespeople said the plane, with approximately 120 passengers on board, was diverted to Metro Airport after the flight crew reported a problem with the plane's cabin pressure.
It's not clear yet what the problem was. The plane made a safe, routine landing and we're not aware of any injuries.
