Art Gallery Opens In Historic Pontiac Home
PONTIAC (WWJ) - The owners of a new Pontiac business say they want to bring more art to Oakland County.
The opening of "Gallery on the Boulevard" -- in a 1918 historic home that Rick David and his wife Pat restored -- will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting Thursday afternoon.
"We have a wonderful art gallery that has a variety of artists' work here, a vintage resale shop and studio," David told WWJ Newsradio 950.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. at the gallery, at 53 Franklin Boulevard in the historic district of Pontiac's West End
Northville artist Mike Mullen is currently featured. Artists interested in displaying art at Gallery on the Boulevard can find more information at www.GalleryBoulevard.com, on the gallery's Facebook page or by calling 248-770-7685.
Gallery hours are Wed. - Sat. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
