Armed Suspect Wanted In String Of Dollar Store Robberies In Detroit [PHOTOS]
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a string of armed robberies on the city's west side.
The pair have allegedly targeted three stores, four different times over the course of one week — including Family Dollar and Dollar Tree stores on Grand River ave., as well as a Family Dollar location on Telegraph Road in Detroit, all over the course of about a week.
The Grand River Family dollar was hit twice by the same suspects, according to police.
Suspect number one is described as a black male with a light complexion, around 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 170 lbs. He was seen wearing a white take top and black shorts and had a black t-shirt draped over his shoulders.
Suspect number two is a black male, is around 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 130 lbs. with his hair in a short "afro" style. He was seen wearing green shorts with a white tank top and had a grey shirt over his shoulders.
Police said both of the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
Store surveillance photos were released to the media on Friday.
