Armed Robbery Disrupts Breakfast At Big Boy
WARREN (WWJ) - A bold armed robbery rattled a Warren neighborhood as patrons enjoyed their breakfast at a Big Boy restaurant.
WWJ Newsradio 950's Pat Sweeting reports that Warren police are getting kudos from the big wigs at Big Boy Restaurants International following the incident at the Ryan Road and 10 Mile location.
When a man walked in with a handgun and walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash, Warren police were not far behind.
"They were so quick that they were on the tail of the fella as he left the restaurants," said Big Boy International CEO Keith Sirois. "It's been unbelievable their response and their professionalism."
There were eight customers in the restaurant when the robbery occurred. No one was hurt.
The gunman and an accomplice were chased into Detroit where their getaway car crashed. Both were arrested.
