Armed Bank Robber At Large In Ann Arbor
ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - Police are looking for a man who got away with a bag of cash from an Ann Arbor bank.
Officials say the man walked into the Fifth Third Bank branch on Stadium Boulevard shortly before 4 p.m. on Thursday — armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
He demanded large bills from the two bank tellers on duty and ran off with the cash to a getaway vehicle parked at the nearby Grotto parking lot.
Police said the suspect is a 35-40 year-old white male, around 6 feet tall and weighing 260 lbs. He was wearing a camouflage baseball cap and a black hoodie.
He got away in a white crew cab pickup truck.
Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
