Armada Township Man Charged With Child Sex Abuse
ROMEO (WWJ) - A 51-year-old Armada Township man is behind bars after police say he sexually abused two children and took nude videos.
Bruce Alan Jaynes has been charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct — a 25-year felony — and one count of child sexually abusive activity — a 20-year felony — for alleged crimes that spanned four years, beginning in 2005.
After statements were taken from the two minor victims, Michigan State police detectives found homemade child pornography on Jaynes' computer.
He was arrested at this home without incident and arraigned at 42-1 District Court in Romeo on Thursday.
Jaynes is being held on a $350,00 cash bond pending his next court appearance set for Oct. 15.
The age and sex of the victims has not been disclosed.
