Apparent Murder-Suicide In Bloomfield Twp.
BLOOMFIELD TWP. (WWJ) - Police have released the names of a Bloomfield Township couple found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.
Officers were called to a home on Bedford Road, near Woodward and Square Lake, after a neighbor reported hearing gunshots. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man and woman dead.
The two have now been identified as 46-year-old Kenneth Jarrell from Bloomfield Township and 45-year-old Susan Jarrell of Rochester Hills. Police said they were recently divorced.
Authorities believe the man shot his ex-wife, whose body was found inside a vehicle, before turning the gun on himself.
Oakland County Crime Scene Unit and the Bloomfield Township Police Department are investigating.
