Ann Arbor Police Hunt Bank Robber
For the second time in a week, Ann Arbor police are investigating a bank robbery on Packard Street. It happened around 9 a.m. at Lake Trust Credit Union on Packard near Stadium.
Police tell WWJ the man ordered the manager to an area where they kept money, and the gunman fled with cash.
"What we have received so far from the witnesses is that it's a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, medium build. He was wearing a light gray zip-up hoodie-type sweatshirt and black sweatpants. He did have on a black ski mask and latex gloves," said Ann Arbor Police Lt. Angela Abrams.
Officers canvassed the area with tracking dogs, and eight areas schools were put on lockdown as a precaution.
Police aren't clear if it's related to a similar nearby heist last week at a Bank of America branch, also on Packard.
The schools lockdown has since been lifted.
