Amber Alert Canceled For Missing 3-year-old Detroit Girl
UPDATE: According to Detroit Police, Stacey Anderson, the child's father, released 3-year-old Alonna Anderson to her relatives. She is safe and was not harmed. Both suspects are still wanted for kidnapping.
DETROIT (WWJ) - A 3-year-old Detroit girl is the focus of an Amber Alert. Alonna Anderson was last seen at her home in the area of Northfield Avenue near I-96 and Joy Road. Police think she was abducted by 29-year-old Stacey Anderson.
Investigators say Anderson was assaulting the girl's mother as a second man took Alonna. They're thought to be driving an older model green Jeep Cherokee. Anderson has a pitbull tattoo on his left arm. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, stone-washed gray jean shorts and gray Timberland boots.
Alonna is described as a black female, 3 feet tall, and weighing about 48 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair, and was last seen wearing a floral shirt and floral skirt with white, pink, green, yellow and orange flowers in the middle of the shirt, and white sandals. She has braids in her hair, with white beads hanging from her braids.
Anyone who may have information on the alleged victim, suspect or the suspect's vehicle is asked to call 911 or the Detroit Police Department at 313-237-2579 immediately. Police think she was abducted by 29-year-old Stacey Anderson.
