Amber Alert For 2-Year-Old Michigan Girl
ST. JOSEPH (WWJ) - An Amber Alert has been issued for a 2-year-old girl police said was taken from her home in St. Joseph near Benton Harbor.
Police believe Chloe West was taken by her biological mother, Lisa West, who had her parental rights terminated. They said that the child is in "extreme danger."
Child Protective Services was doing a scheduled supervised visit when the mother allegedly took the girl.
Chloe is described as 21 inches tall, 25 pounds with brown eyes and black braided hair with many barrettes. She was last seen wearing a pink short-sleeved dress with white flowers and matching ruffled shorts.
Lisa West is described as a 40-year-old black female, five feet five inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing black shorts and white t-shirt.
Anyone with any information on the alleged victim or abductor is asked to immediately call 911 or the St. Joseph Police Department at 269-983-2571.
