Agility Health Forms Strategic Partnership in Greater Pittsburgh Market

GRAND RAPIDS -- Agility Health, a leading provider of physical rehabilitation and software services, today announced the expansion of its multi-state outpatient clinic group through a new partnership with Pennsylvania-based Panther Physical Therapy.

With four locations in the greater Pittsburgh area, including the northern suburbs of Allison Park, Butler, Wexford and Zelienople, Panther Physical Therapy provides an important addition to Agility Health's growing national network, which now comprises 39 partnered or owned service sites. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"Identifying proven local practices with an exceptional brand presence is among our core criteria as we continue to evaluate new investment in the highly fragmented outpatient rehabilitation market," said Agility Health CEO Steven N. Davidson. "Panther Physical Therapy's Jay Lemcke and Sean Collins have built their practice in all the right ways, cultivating an organizational commitment to compassionate care, delivering great outcomes, and using creative marketing to drive growth.

"Panther's quality metrics are winning high marks among payors, and their patient pipeline is remarkable for its successful direct patient access and related referrals. With such a strong reputation in place, we're eager to work with Panther in applying Agility Health's resources and helping take their growth to the next level."

Panther's extensive therapeutic offering reflects the broad scope of services typically offered by Agility Health's partnered and owned clinics. In addition to providing a full range of manual therapies, including therapeutic exercise, myofascial techniques and joint mobilization, Panther's 25-member staff has significant experience with multiple musculo-skeletal dysfunctions and post-operative care.

"Our ability to offer an extensive array of treatments is a key part of the value we provide in our community, but it's ultimately Panther's service-focused culture that drives our client outcomes and makes us an ideal partner for Agility Health," said Panther founder Jay Lemke. "We call it the 'Panther Promise,'" added co-founder Sean Collins. "By emphasizing clinical excellence, compassion, respectful healthcare, community commitment and professionalism, we're building an enthusiastic client following that literally carries our name far and wide – and then writes home to tell about it."

Panther's Web site, www.pantherpt.com, and clinics feature the "PantherSPOT," a collection of photographs submitted by clients who have returned to the activities they were once able to do after benefitting from Panther's services. Each photo features a client sporting a Panther T-shirt in diverse settings that range from an undersea dive and desert hike to travel in several continents.

Established in 1968, Agility Health delivers personalized care through nearly one million therapy visits annually at more than 125 service sites in 13 states nationwide.
