After Meeting His Future Wife, Jim Harbaugh Called Her Nine Times Before She Returned The Call [VIDEO]

HBO's 'Real Sports' ran a special on the new Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh this week and it featured Alex Boone calling Harbaugh "clinically insane", a tour of his old house, and topics including where he would play baseball.
One topic discussed I did find very interesting, though.
Jim Harbaugh might not be able to turn the Wolverines' program around in year one, but he does have some dating advice -- well, sort of.
HBO's Andrea Kramer was doing the interview and had asked how he met his future wife. His answer was interesting to say the least.
Harbaugh went into how he had met her at a restaurant, went up to her and asked her if he could "meet her."
She gave Jim her number and he said, "I thought it was one of those fake numbers she was giving me. But I called her. Multiple times. Like, nine times before she returned my call."
He doesn't say how much of a time lag there was between calls, but knowing his hard-charging personality, I'm guessing the nine calls happened in seven minutes.
If this doesn't teach you that persistence pays off, then I don't know what does. If he shows that kind of commitment with a recruit you have to figure they commit to Michigan.
