Accident Takes Life Of Elderly Woman
DEARBORN (WWJ) - A 90-year-old woman was killed when she was hit by a car in Dearborn early Friday.
Police said the Dearborn woman was walking along Hubbard Drive near Fairlane Woods Drive when she was struck by a Dodge Neon driven by a 72-year-old Detroit man.
It happened at around 5:30 a.m.
Police said it appears the collision was accidental and neither drugs nor alcohol were involved.
In a statement, Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad urged Metro Detroit drivers and pedestrians to be cautious, especially during early morning hours and other times of limited visibility.
