Aaron Rodgers Ruled Out For Thanksgiving Game Against Lions

DETROIT (CBS DETROIT) - A few hours after Green Bay offensive lineman Josh Sitton blasted the Detroit Lions as cheap shot artists who target quarterback, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been ruled out for Thursday's game, according to the Associated Press.
Matt Flynn had been expected to start, but after Rodgers practiced Tuesday, there had still been a slim-to-none chance Rodgers would play. As it turns out, Rodgers will miss his third straight game after fracturing his collarbone Nov. 4.
Green Bay is 0-3-1 since Rodgers' injury. The Packers defeated the Lions 22-9 without superstar wide receiver Calvin Johnson and number two receiver Nate Burleson back on Oct. 6. Detroit has not won a Thanksgiving Day matchup since 2003, when the Lions beat the Packers.
