A One-Man Protest, On The Roof Of A County Building
People are finally looking up to Bill Riney. That's because he's on the roof of the Washtenaw County Building in Ann Arbor.
He doesn't want to draw attention to himself, but to the plight of high unemployment.
Riney thinks he'll get positive response to what he's doing.
He climbed to the roof Monday afternoon and doesn't plan to come down for a few days.
He wants local and national attention to the seriousness of unemployment.
Riney says he's prepared to stay up there for a few days. He has plenty of food and water, and plenty of his favorite music from Marvin Gaye.
