A Lot Of Items Banned From The Big House For The Winter Classic [Complete List]
ANN ARBOR (CBS DETROIT) - The New Year's Day battle between the Red Wings and Maple Leafs will have strict rules to follow as you enter Michigan Stadium.
Wolverines fans know the rules at the Big House but most of the 100,000-plus hockey fans heading into Ann Arbor for 2014 Winter Classic are a different group, mostly first-timers at The Big House, and probably unfamiliar with the rules — like no bags allowed.
That includes all categories of bags: backpacks, purses, camera and binocular cases, etc.
Forget the hair-spray, too, and no alcohol, no food and no coolers will be admitted.
If you're the celebratory type with all the paraphernalia that comes along with your spirit — be forewarned: balloons, banners, flags, noisemakers, signs w/questionable language are all prohibited at Michigan Stadium. So are video cameras, audio recorders and some cameras.
And with a ban on strollers, you'll need to carry your babies if you bring them.
