97.1 On-Air Staff Makes Lions First Round Pick

The Lions are slotted to make their fourth top five pick in seven years in the NFL draft this April. Selected on-air personalities were asked who they would pick if the selection were up to them. With the fifth pick in the 2012 NFL Draft the Detroit Lions select, if it were up to the responding 97.1 air staff, linebacker Manti Te'o from Notre Dame. Georgia's Jarvis Jones and Florida State's Bjoern Werner tied for second with four votes apiece. Alabama's Dee Milliner got two votes. LSU's Barkevious Mingo and Texas A&M's Demontre Moore each received one vote.
