91-Year-Old Man Goes Missing On Detroit's West Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking the public for help locating a 91-year-old man who went missing on the city's west side.

Police say Joseph Olds was last seen around 6:20 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at his home in the 1600 block of Cortland, in a neighborhood along the Lodge Freeway near the Davison Freeway. He was discovered missing by his son at 7 p.m. the same day, according to police.

Relatives say Olds is in good physical condition but suffers from memory loss, and takes medication for health related concerns.

Olds is described as a black male with a light brown complexion, 5'9 tall and 190 lbs. with salt and pepper hair and brown eyes. He also has a mole on his left cheek and is missing his upper and lower teeth. He was last seen wearing prescription glasses, a black baseball hat with an orange trim, gray jacket, green plaid shirt, beige pants and black shoes.
