5 Shot At Class Reunion
DETROIT (WWJ) - For the second time in two weeks, there's been a shooting at a Detroit high school class reunion.
WWJ's City Beat reporter Vickie Thomas reports that a class reunion picnic gone bad on the football field at Cooley High School has left a 15-year-old boy, two 18-year-old men, a 26-year-old man, and a 41-year-old man in serious condition at a local hospital. Detroit Police spokeswoman Sgt. Eren Stephens says a fight broke out at around 9:30 Sunday night, and then the suspect fired several shots from a vehicle, striking the victims.
Officers spotted the vehicle and arrested the 35-year-old suspect. Police also recovered the weapon at the scene.
