Police Continue To Search For Suspect In Murder Of Brownstown Township Woman
BROWNSTOWN (WWJ) - Brownstown Township police have no suspects in the fatal shooting of Zita Kvasys, 46, who was found dead in her home last week.
Her ex-husband, Ken Kvasys, said officials have told him there were no signs of a break in.
"The only thing stolen was her purse and the detective thinks that the person took that just to make it look like a robbery," Kvasys said. "But there is no sign of ransacking, no sign of struggling, no nothing."
The victim's ex-husband says she was very close to the Lithuanian community, but seemed to have no enemies.
"Didn't really have, make any close American friends, nobody here can think of anyone who would want to harm her," he said.
People are asked to call the Brownstown Township Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP if they have information on this case.
A service will be held at 9 p.m. Monday for Zita Kvasys Monday at the Divine Providence Lithuanian Catholic Church in Southfield on 9 Mile between Telegraph and Beech Daly.
