4 Men Busted For Soliciting Sex From Undercover Officers Online
MACOMB (WWJ) - Authorities in Macomb County have arrested four men on charges of solicitation after two separate investigations.
In the first investigation, detectives were talking with a man online who solicited sex in exchange for drugs. The man told detectives he was going to pick up some friends and bring "snow" to exchange for sex. The man agreed to meet at a prearranged place and time in Macomb County and described the vehicle he would be driving.
When the time came around, detectives were readily waiting and ended up arresting three men: 44-year-old Johhny Johnson, of Detroit; 51-year-old Leslie Rockymore, of Eastpointe; and 43-year-old Darrell Williams, of Detroit. Upon searching their vehicle police also recovered powdered cocaine, crack cocaine and a .40 caliber Smith & Wesson handgun.
In the second investigation, police made contact through the internet with a Troy man who was soliciting sex. The man, 24-year-old Usman Muhammad, agreed to meet at a predetermined time and location and described the car that he would be driving. When the man arrived at the location, he was arrested.
The four men were arraigned in the 41B District Court of Clinton Township on Tuesday.
Johnson and Rockymore were both given a $15,000 cash bond after being charged with controlled substances delivery/manufacturing cocaine, felony firearm, prostitution -- accosting and soliciting, and using a computer to commit a crime.
Williams was given a $2,000 personal bond after being charged with prostitution -- accosting and soliciting, and having open alcohol container in a vehicle.
Muhammad was given a $1,000 surety bond after being charged with prostitution -- accosting and soliciting, and using a computer to commit a crime.
