4 Hurt In Drive-By Shooting At Detroit House Party
DETROIT (WWJ/AP) - Four people were wounded over the weekend during a party at a Detroit home.
The shooting happened about 4:30 a.m. Sunday on the city's east side.
Police say the men ages 18, 22, 27 and 30 were standing outside the home in a group of about 10 people when someone in a passing minivan opened fire on them.
Police say a woman tried to drive the men to a nearby hospital, but she crashed into a home. According to police, the 30-year-old man was last listed in critical condition and the others were in temporary serious condition. The woman was in good condition.
WJBK-TV reported that police believe the suspect used a high-powered assault rifle.
The shooting is under investigation.
